Chester CUSD 139: In collaboration with the City of Chester Police, Sparta Police, Steeleville Police, and Jackson County Sheriff Department, a routine K9 search is being conducted at Chester CUSD. The buildings will be under a soft lockdown, and nobody will be allowed to enter or exit the buildings until the search is completed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Part of the goal of National FFA Week is to help educate and raise awareness about what Agriculture is and what it does for us. This week Ms. Millburg's Intro to Ag students took some time and explained what Agriculture is, what the value of Agriculture Education is, and gave some examples of Agriculture in our own community! 🚜🌽🐔🐄🥰
CHS SOFTBALL:
CHS Softball will have a parent meeting following tryouts on Monday, February 27th. Parents are welcome to attend tryouts also, but the meeting is expected to begin at 5:45PM. Location will be announced later. One parent or guardian is required to attend a coaches/parents meeting prior their player participating in a game. If the 27th does not work with your schedule, please contact me for an alternate date. This Try-out is open to any girl who is attending CHS. Even if you haven't attended an open gym/field practice and still want to try out, you are more then welcome to come.

There will be a mandatory student/parent meeting Sunday, February 26, at 6:00 PM in the CHS cafeteria for all those interested in playing baseball during the spring 2023 season. Practice will begin on Monday, February 27 at Cohen Field in Chester at 4:00. Student-athletes must have an updated Physical on file to participate in any team workout.
