CHS: Lifetouch will be here on Thursday, March 7th to take winter sports pictures. We will only be taking photos 7th and 8th hours. Teams being photographed are boys and girls basketball, cheer and dance.
The following students have been selected by their teachers to represent Chester High School at the Southern Illinois Society for High School Achievement (S.I.S.H.S.A). The students will be accompanied by CHS administration, Mr. Blechle and Mrs. Barton to an evening banquet on May 1st at SIUC, connecting with all Southern Illinois Schools and their respective students.

Part of the goal of National FFA Week is to help educate and raise awareness about what Agriculture is and what it does for us.
Last week Ms. Millburg's Intro to Ag students took some time and explained what Agriculture is, what the value of Agriculture Education is, and gave some examples of Agriculture in our own community.
CHS: Green Cap Contests
During the month of January, all home rooms participated in the Pepsi Green Cap collection contest Mrs. Clendenin's class overwhelmingly won with 363 caps. Her class was rewarded with an ice cream cake, compliments of Chester Dairy Queen, Scott Rust.
Congratulations to our CGS musicians who performed at the IGSMA District Solo and Ensemble contest today in Carterville. Our students earned 9 Good, 45 Excellent and 2 Superior ratings. In addition, 29 soloists and 2 ensembles advanced to the State contest at the end of April. Way to go Jr. Jacket musicians!

Tickets for Chester High School's Production of "The Pajama Game" go on sale Friday, February 23, 2024 in the CHS Principal's Office. Show dates are March 14, 15 and 16 at 7:00 PM each night.
