This past Thursday, our Junior Jackets Cross Country team competed in a meet at Pinckneyville and they ALL did GREAT! Four of our JJ's took home some medals with Colin Martinez taking 3rd place, Roman Ditch taking 4th place, Brady Brown taking 5th place, and Carter Kennedy taking 9th place!!! Way to go runners!!!
And who can forget about the crazy socks??? 🧦 EVERY runner beat their own record in practice again! One by 7 minutes!! How awesome and crrrazy is that?! We are proud of you all!! 🖤🧡

Games will be streamed through Hudl. Fans will have the option to purchase and view individual games rather than a yearly subscription. Parents/Guardians of Chester CUSD 139 please keep in mind as we go through the school year that your child's bus will not always arrive for pick ups and drop offs at the exact same time everyday. Please allow a window of time before and after so we can assure your child gets off the bus safely and home to you.

CHS Open House will be on Wednesday, August 23 @ 6pm (doors opening at 5:45). This is a great way to meet the CHS faculty and start that parent teacher relationship on a positive note. Be sure to bring a copy of your students schedule, as it will help guide you through their typical day at CHS. Parents and guardians will be given 12 minutes in each classroom and will move from class to class at each bell following a short introduction from CHS administration.
- Enter through Sharp Cafeteria.
- Don't be late as this event starts at 6 with
moving from class to class.
- This is a parent/guardian event, students
do not need to attend.
