CHS: FRESHMAN PREVIEW NIGHT SUCCESS (4 of 4)
Our 2nd Annual Chester High School Freshman Preview Night was a massive success. Parents and students had an opportunity to hear from our Principal, Jeremy Blachle, Assistant Principal, Robin Barton, our school Counselor Casey Hawkins, as well as our Athletic Director, Jenny Cartwright about many details of CHS life. After the presentation, the students and parents had an opportunity to come down onto Colbert Gym floor and meet with the various academic departments as well as representatives from CHS athletics, clubs and organizations. It was a great first step on these families’ journey with Chester High School!

Congratulations to Jason Sibley (1st Place) and Nico DeGuzman (2nd Place) for winning the CHS Poem of the Month, March edition! Their winning poems can be read on the CHS Sting website.
The competition theme for April is "Spring." Poets are free to interpret this theme in any way they'd like -- whether it is a poem about flowers, the outdoors, the seasons changing, Spring break, Spring cleaning, or springing to life! All CHS students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to enter this competition. Enter by filling out the Google Form found on The CHS Sting. Poems are due no later than April 7.

Senior Scholarships are due April 1st by 8:00am in the Student Services Office or postmarked/delivered according to the instructions on each scholarship. This is a FIRM deadline. Turn them in early or send them to school with another person to avoid any unplanned issues.
